Exposure to air pollutant PM 2.5 weakens memory

 Air pollution also damages the environment and health. The PM responsible for air pollution 2.5 also affects memory. According to a research published in a medical journal called Brain, exposure to PM 2.5 weakens memory.

Research conducted by the Cake School of USC in California to study how pollution affects the human brain.

The research involved 998 women aged 73 to 87 years. Brain activity of all these women was observed in research for 5 years with the help of a brain scanner.

Researchers collected all the information about the time spent by all women and the level of PM 2.5 at all these places.

From all the information and the brain scanner's report, this research proved that exposure to PM 2.5 with increasing age impairs memory.
Air pollution is simply the presence of harmful elements in the air around us in simple language or it can be said that the air pollution around us. Air pollution can also be natural and man-made. Man-made activities such as combustion, construction, mining, agriculture and warfare are important contributors to the spread of air pollution. Maximum air pollution is spread due to combustion of fuel by vehicles. The presence of certain chemicals and certain substances in the atmosphere can be considered as air pollution, such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and nitrogen oxide.

Pollutants can be classified in either primary or secondary ways. Generally, primary pollutants are solid substances that are emitted from various processes, including processes such as emission of volcanic eruptions, carbon monoxide emitted from vehicles, and sulfur dioxide emitted from factories.

Secondary pollutants do not emit directly. Ultras are formed in the air only when primary pollutants respond or interact. The most important example of secondary pollutants is ground-level ozone - many secondary pollutants form photochemical fog.

It is important to note that some pollutants are both primary and secondary, so that they are both directly ejected and formed from other primary pollutants.

According to the Harvard School of Public Health's Environmental Science Engineering program, four percent of all deaths in the United States are caused by air pollution alone.

Most primary pollutants originate from human activities, including the following activities.

Nitrogen oxide

(NOx-specific nitrogen dioxide) is released from high-temperature combustion. Nitrogen dioxide is a chemical compound containing the formula NO2. It is one of several nitrogen oxide. Ink is a characteristic of poisonous gases that has a head odor. NO2 is one of the most important pollutants in air pollutants.
Carbon monoxide (Carbon monoxide) is a colorless, odorless and lightly burned gas but is a highly toxic gas. It is produced when fuels such as natural gas, coal, and wood are not fully burned. Is the largest source of carbon monoxide.
Carbon dioxide, known as greenhouse gas, is produced from CO2 combustion but is extremely important for living organisms. It is a natural gas in the atmosphere.

Sulfur oxide (SOx) 

- Sulfur oxide, which is a chemical compound including formula SO2, is produced by volcanoes and by various processes. Coal and petroleum are sometimes mixed with sulfur when they burn.
